BDO opens office in Ostrava, wants to be closer to its clients

21 September 2023

BDO is opening a new office in Ostrava at the beginning of September. The office, which was established in the premises of the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre, is the consulting company's eighth office in the Czech Republic. The reason for its establishment is the growing number of clients in the Moravian-Silesian and Olomouc regions. Within the Ostrava office, BDO will gradually roll out comprehensive services ranging from audit, tax, corporate and legal advisory to financial and payroll accounting advisory and accounting outsourcing.

BDO has been significantly strengthening its presence on the Czech market in recent years and many of its existing and new clients are from the Moravian-Silesian or Olomouc regions. Since our services are based on long-term cooperation and personal relationships, and most of our offices are located in the Czech Republic for historical reasons, we have identified a long-term need to establish another office in the Ostrava region. This will allow us to be closer to our clients in the region, which is crucial in consulting.

BDO's existing clients in the Moravian-Silesian region include a number of major IT companies and industrial enterprises, but also, for example, the mining company OKD, the Statutory City of Ostrava or the University of Mining and Metallurgy - Technical University of Ostrava.

The Ostrava office joins seven existing offices in Brno, Pilsen, České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec, Domažlice and two offices in Prague.

It is located in the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre (MSIC) at Technologická 376/5 in Ostrava-Pustkovec. BDO has chosen this address in order to deepen the existing cooperation with MSIC in the field of support for small and medium-sized companies in the region. In addition to companies planning either major expansion or significant innovation in the coming years, we want to focus on supporting regional start-ups in cooperation with MSIC.
